Introduction of department – Sanskrit Samhita Siddhant deparmentis based on ancient classical text. These Samhita give thorough knowledge of basic principles. Amongst 18 subjects of B. A. M. S. curriculum Sanskrit and Ayurveditihas, PadarthVigyan, Samhita Adyayan1, 2 and 3 are taught through this department. The base of All Ayurveda text is Sanskrit language and without knowing the grammar and precise meaning it’s hard to understood the concepts and without proper knowledge no one can implement it. Hence, this is unique deparment to understood fundamental principles and appropriate meaning of shlok mentioned by ancient Acharya's in various context.
Acharya's in various context. This department is also running Post graduation Course Viz P.G.(AyurvedVachaspati) Samhita Siddhant and darshan. This course is useful for knowing Samhita with their tika( critics ). It's important for academic and practice purpose. The research of Samhita's with it’s relevance in today’s era is need of the hour. Hence this department is pioneer department of Ayurvda knowledge.
