Challenges before Present Education & Research in Ayurveda

  • 1. Unfamiliarity of teachers with basic philosophical and logical framework that underlie knowledge of Ayurveda
  • 2. Defiency of dialectic between systemic theory and structural theory and thus unable to establish a comparative, constructive and balanced dialogue between system of Ayurveda & Modern science
  • 3. Lack of orientation in formal teaching of contemporary public health and preventive & promotional health care need of society
  • 4. Dilution & devaluation of faculty from tradition to Institutionallisation
  • 5. Low turnout of clinical material
  • 6. Non availability of natural products extinction of various plant species
